Service Description

The 4 day guided program to Torre Norte is a classic Patagonian alpine climbing experience on one of the most iconic granite towers in Torres del Paine National Park. This expedition combines remote trekking, high camp living, and sustained technical climbing on solid Patagonian granite , offering a demanding yet achievable objective for well-prepared climbers. Torre Norte is considered the most accessible of the three Torres del Paine, making it an excellent introduction to Patagonian big wall-style climbing, while still requiring solid technical skills, physical endurance, and sound alpine judgment. The ascent follows the classic Bich Couloir and ridge system, involving sustained rock pitches, possible snow or mixed sections depending on conditions, and an exposed final ridge to the summit. The route is known for its excellent granite quality, significant exposure, and panoramic views over the Paine Massif. All programs are led by UIAGM / IFMGA certified mountain guides, ensuring the highest international standards in safety, rope management, and decision-making. Groups are intentionally kept small to maximize efficiency, safety, and overall experience quality. This program is suitable for climbers with prior multi-pitch experience, good physical condition, and comfort in exposed alpine terrain. Previous alpine climbing experience is strongly recommended. Climbing Torre Norte is a true Patagonian classic, a demanding and deeply rewarding experience, and a natural stepping stone toward Torre Central and Torre Sur.
