Service Description

Ski Touring North Patagonia, 10 Days is a fully guided ski touring experience designed for skiers and splitboarders with previous backcountry experience who are looking for long descents, unique volcanic landscapes and a true earn your turns approach in the Chilean Patagonia. The program is based in the Araucanía Region, with operational bases in Malalcahuello and Pucón, and explores a selection of classic and lesser-known volcanoes such as Lonquimay, Llaima, Tolhuaca, Sierra Nevada, Villarrica, Quetrupillán and Lanín, depending on snow conditions, weather and group objectives. The itinerary is flexible and adapts daily to select the best available objectives. Some days may include lift-assisted access from local ski resorts to maximize ski time, while others involve full ski touring ascents in remote volcanic terrain, always prioritizing snow quality and group safety. All expeditions are led by UIAGM / IFMGA certified mountain guides with professional avalanche training and extensive international guiding experience. We operate with small groups to ensure high safety standards, personalized decision-making and a high-quality guiding experience throughout the program. This program is ideal for skiers and splitboarders with previous ski touring or off-piste experience, good physical fitness and the ability to ski variable snow conditions in open mountain terrain.
